We are looking for an experienced Infringements Review Officer to join a local council in Melbourne’s northern suburbs on a temporary contract through to 14 December 2026.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who has experience working in anenforcement environment .
About the role:
- Provide customer service and administrative support across the Appeals Department.
- Process Driver Nominations for Parking infringements
- Review Family Violence and Enforcement Review cases
- Manage and respond to requests and complaints within established timeframes.
- Prepare routine written correspondence and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, Council policies and procedures.
Key Criteria:
- Previous experience in an administrative role within a compliance, enforcement or government setting .
- An understanding of the types of enforcement activities undertaken within a compliance team within local council.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Local government experience is highly regarded
