My Rehab Team is seeking an experienced Podiatrist to join our Brisbane-based mobile allied health team as a contractor.

This chance is suited to a confident clinician who enjoys working independently but values being connected to a supportive multidisciplinary team. You will have flexibility over your availability and schedule, with referrals and administrative support provided to help you build a sustainable caseload without starting from scratch.

The role is primarily mobile, providing podiatry services in clients’ homes and community settings across Brisbane. Medsana Medical Clinic, our Eight Mile Plains facility, also provides a central base and opportunities to collaborate with our allied health and medical teams.

About My Rehab Team

My Rehab Team is a growing multidisciplinary allied health organisation delivering mobile, community and clinic-based services across Brisbane.

While this position is primarily mobile and community-based, Medsana Medical Clinic, our Eight Mile Plains facility, provides a central base and opportunities to collaborate with our multidisciplinary allied health and medical team. Our team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, exercise physiologists, podiatrists, dietitians, nurses, social workers, therapy assistants and support coordinators.

Our approach is practical, collaborative and outcome-focused. We help clients improve their independence, participate in everyday life and remain safely supported in their homes and communities.

About the opportunity

As an experienced contractor, you will manage your clinical work with a high degree of autonomy while remaining connected to our broader team.

You will provide podiatry assessments and treatment to clients in their homes and community settings. Depending on your interests and availability, there may also be opportunities to provide services from our Eight Mile Plains facility.

Your caseload may include:

- General podiatry and routine foot care
- Diabetic foot assessment and management
- Neurological and disability-related presentations
- Age-related foot care and mobility concerns
- Skin and nail conditions




- Footwear assessment and education
- Injury management and prevention
- Ongoing care for clients with chronic or complex health conditions

Clients may receive services through the NDIS, Support at Home, Medicare, private funding and other funding arrangements.

We aim to allocate referrals with consideration of your preferred service areas, availability, clinical experience and existing schedule.

Key responsibilities

- Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment and management plans
- Deliver podiatry services in clients’ homes and community settings
- Identify and appropriately escalate high-risk or deteriorating foot conditions
- Support clients to maintain mobility, independence and foot health
- Provide education about foot care, footwear, pressure management and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes, reports and correspondence
- Communicate with clients, families, support coordinators, referrers and other providers
- Collaborate with our allied health, nursing and medical teams
- Meet applicable professional, clinical governance and funding requirements

About you

We are looking for an experienced Podiatrist who is:

- Registered with AHPRA as a Podiatrist
- Clinically experienced and confident working independently
- Compassionate, reliable and committed to high-quality care
- Comfortable providing services in clients’ homes and community settings
- Skilled in managing a varied caseload, including clients with complex or chronic conditions
- An effective communicator with clients, families and other professionals
- Organised and committed to accurate, timely documentation
- Able to recognise clinical risk and elevate concerns appropriately
- Interested in building a consistent contractor caseload as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in community podiatry, mobile services, disability, neurological conditions, aged care or diabetic and high-risk foot management is highly regarded.

Contractor requirements

To be considered, you will require:

- Current AHPRA registration
- An Australian Business Number
- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Current CPR (within 12 months) and First Aid training (within 3 years), or willingness to obtain one
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- The ability to supply and maintain the equipment required to deliver mobile podiatry services

Additional checks or evidence may be required depending on the clients and funding programs you support.
