As an upshot of growth, the Sydney office are now looking to hire a junior to mid-level E&P; lawyer.
The Sydney E&P; team advises across the full spectrum of planning and environmental matters, from initial planning and feasibility assessments through to development approvals, appeals and enforcement.
Position Description
This is a position which will provide unparalleled opportunities for progression, mentorship and skill development in this area of law.
You will gain broad exposure to a diverse range of planning, environmental and regulatory matters and work with a high-calibre client base that includes State and Local Governments, developers, industry participants, property owners, funds, corporate groups, renewable energy companies, builders and financiers.
Your role will include:
- Appeals and enforcement proceedings in the Planning and Environment Court;
- Planning, environmental and building matters;
- Drafting and negotiating infrastructure agreements;
- Infrastructure planning, charges and agreements;
- Water and land use rights; and
- Development approval requirements and pathways.

Requirements
You will be a lawyer with 1 to 3 years' experience,with a strong interest in environment and planning law.
In addition, you will:
- haveexcellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as people skills
- have strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
- be wanting to be part of a highly energetic and driven team.
