About GradWISE

Developed in collaboration with Australian universities, GradWISE is a multi-faceted program designed to empower students identified as living with a disability, injury, or illness to achieve career wellbeing and success. We help bridge the gap between university and the working world.

The Role: Career Coach

As a key member of the GradWISE team, your primary purpose will be to support students and graduates in increasing their social and economic participation. You will provide personalised coaching and resources, enabling them to develop the skills, confidence, and experience to secure paid graduate or entry-level employment.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

- Coaching and Mentoring: Building rapport and providing tailored, individual coaching throughout the program.
- Facilitation: Co-facilitating group sessions focused on career wellbeing and professional development.
- Networking:



Maintaining key relationships with participants, universities, industry partners, and external support providers.
- Employment Support: Supporting participants to secure work orientation, work experience, and employment placements, liaising with industry partners.
- Program Development: Assisting with program research, evaluation, and promotion.

What You'll Bring to the Team

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

- Demonstrated skills in working with people with disability, injury, or illness .
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting, sensitive relationships.
- A strong commitment to assisting people with disability to build skills and achieve their employment goals.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as: Employability, HR/Recruitment, Disability Services, Social Work, Coaching, or extensive relevant experience.
