EXEQ is looking for a Sales & Service Representative to join our Townsville team. This isn't a traditional sales role where you sit behind a desk waiting for the phone to ring.
We want someone who enjoys getting to know customers, finding opportunities, solving problems and being part of growing a branch.
What you'll be doing
Working alongside our Townsville Branch Manager and broader national team, you'll:
- Respond promptly to phone, email, walk-in and online enquiries.
- Develop new customer relationships throughout Townsville and North Queensland.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment.
- Access stock from across EXEQ's broader national inventory.
- Prepare professional quotations.
- Proactively follow up sales opportunities.
- Maintain your pipeline in Monday.com.
- Sell machinery and equipment across EXEQ's range.
- Coordinate sales with Administration, Yard, Workshop and Freight.
- Help ensure machinery is professionally prepared for handover.
- Follow customers up after their purchase.
- Maintain strong product knowledge.
- Respond promptly to Facebook Marketplace and digital enquiries.
- Support the Branch Manager with day-to-day branch requirements.
- Assist with stock presentation, customer events and broader branch activities.
- Pitch in wherever reasonably required to keep the branch moving.
This is the same core Sales & Service position used across EXEQ, with responsibility for enquiry management, sales, handover, post-sale follow-up and supporting branch operations.
About you
Machinery experience is advantageous, but we're not going to overlook a brilliant salesperson simply because they haven't sold an excavator before.
You may come from:

- Agriculture.
- Automotive or truck sales.
- Construction.
- Industrial or trade sales.
- Rural supplies.
- Account management.
- Another relationship-driven sales workplace.
We're looking for someone who:

- Builds relationships rather than chasing one-off transactions.
- Is organised and comfortable using CRM systems.
- Wants to learn our products.
- Has a current driver's licence.
- Is practical and willing to help around the branch.

- Wants to help grow something.
