Job Description

This is a broad General Manager position with responsibility for the overall commercial and operational performance of the precinct.

You will lead the accommodation business with a focus on occupancy, positioning, guest experience and profitability, while working closely with the F&B; leadership teams to develop the precinct's multiple hospitality offerings.

A major focus will be creating energy and relevance around the venues. This includes activating a significant outdoor terrace, developing programming and events,



improving local awareness and building the late-night business into a consistently strong destination.

You will inherit existing managers across both accommodation and F&B;, but there is an opportunity to strengthen the leadership structure, establish clear standards and create a more cohesive operating rhythm across the precinct.

Candidate Profile

This role will suit a commercially minded hospitality leader who enjoys being close to the operation and wants genuine ownership of a business.

You may currently be leading a boutique or lifestyle hotel, a hospitality precinct, or a significant multi-outlet F&B; operation with exposure to accommodation.

Strong food and beverage credentials are important, as is credible knowledge of hotel operations. You should be comfortable understanding rooms performance, revenue management and the guest journey while equally confident discussing labour, beverage performance, programming, events and venue profitability.

Most importantly, you will know how to lead leaders. The business needs someone who can establish expectations, develop capability, drive accountability and lift standards without removing the individual personality of each venue.

Experience within lifestyle hotels, premium hospitality, late-night venues, openings, repositioning or multi-venue operations will be highly regarded.
