Medrecruit is assisting a Tasmanian hospital with a fixed-term part time role to support the Staff Specialist Microbiologist in Infectious Diseases. You will deliver clinical and diagnostic advice to pathology and ID teams and provide leave coverage as needed.

The role requires bench-level microbiology expertise, teaching and research skills, and strong communication of critical results to treating teams, with a focus on biosafety and collaboration with infection control.
