About the Role:

We are seeking a high-caliber Operations Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across all warehouses, distribution and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) functions throughout Australia and New Zealand, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and customer-focused operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for fostering a proactive, prevention-based zero-harm culture, driving operational excellence, optimising service performance and DIFOT outcomes, while maintaining disciplined cost management to support sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

- Hold comprehensive accountability for all Warehouse operations and the ownership of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) across all sites.
- Managing all staff at all sites for activities of the Warehouses departments to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness.




- Providing direction to ensure overall alignment of procedures across departments to meet or exceed customer DIFOT.
- Managing logistics partner relationships to ensure high standard of service is maintainer while optimising cost.
- Identify and implement system and process improvements as the needs of business change.
- Unify operations departments to work together to ensure customer centric focus of all teams.
- Manage all third-party providers to achieve excellent service, whilst maintaining competitive rates.
- Monitoring maintenance of material handling equipment and efficient use of warehouse property and consumables.

What We Are Looking For

- Proven Leadership: Minimum 3+ solid years of experience managing large teams (35+) within a busy warehouse environment.
- Industry Expertise: Strong background in logistics, 3PL, FMCG, or industrial distribution.
- System Savvy: High proficiency in modern ERP software.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively manage team dynamics and liaise with senior stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: A decisive leader who thrives under pressure and resolves operational challenges quickly.
