Ganaji Contracting is seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join a major industrial process plant construction project in Karratha, WA .

n

This is an opportunity for experienced Electrical Supervisors with strong Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining, Process Plant and Heavy Industrial Construction backgrounds who can lead electrical crews, maintain high safety and quality standards, and deliver work safely against project schedules.

PROJECT DETAILS n

- Project Location: Karratha, WA
n
- Roster: 2:1 FIFO
n
- Karratha Local: DIDO available for Karratha residents
n
- Point of Hire (POH): Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide
n
- Travel: Flights provided in line with project travel arrangements and flight schedules
n
- Employment: Full time project work
n
- Hours: Approx. 70 hours per week
n
- Duration: 12+ months
n
- Mobilisation: Immediate
n
- Rate + Allowances + Superannuation
n
- Weekly pay
n
- RDO: 1 per swing, subject to project requirements
n
- Breaks: Paid break applies when working over 10 hours
n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES nn
- Minimum 7+ years' post-apprenticeship experience in heavy industrial electrical/instrumentation construction, with demonstrated electrical supervisory experience.
n
- Construction experience across Mining, Oil & Gas, LNG, Process Plants or Heavy Industrial projects .
n
- Supervise electricians, Leading Hands and Trade Assistants across allocated electrical work fronts.
n
- Coordinate daily electrical activities, work fronts and manpower allocation.
n
- Monitor productivity, work progress, priorities and project milestones.
n
- Supervise electrical construction activities including cable pulling, cable tray and ladder installation, conduit,



lighting and small power installation .
n
- Coordinate glanding, terminations and electrical installation activities in accordance with project requirements.
n
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, cable schedules and termination drawings .
n
- Coordinate with Leading Hands, Superintendents and other project teams to maintain efficient work fronts.
n
- Manage site permits, isolations and LOTO requirements in accordance with project procedures.
n
- Monitor quality requirements, inspections and completion of electrical installation activities.
n
- Conduct daily pre-starts and toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
n
- Ensure electrical works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
n
- Support testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities where required.
n
- Assist with punch-list close-out, completions and handover requirements .

- Passport

- Driver's Licence

- Right to Work in Australia documentation

- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
n
- Current WA Electrical Worker Licence
n
- High Risk Work Licence - WP, where required
n
- Working at Heights - within 2 years
n
- Construction White Card
n
- First Aid - within 3 years
n
- CPR - within 1 year
n
- LVR - within 1 year
