We are currently recruiting for a BIM Modeller to join an established engineering team delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects.

n

The role will focus on developing and maintaining detailed 3D models and associated design documentation, working closely with structural, electrical and multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the design and delivery process.

n

This position would suit someone with a structural modelling background who has strong Revit capability, ideally with previous experience across substations, data centres or other technically complex infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities n

n
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models using Revit.
n
- Produce coordinated structural models, drawings and associated design documentation.
n
- Support the development of models for substations, data centres and electrical infrastructure projects.
n
- Work closely with structural, electrical, civil and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
n
- Coordinate models across different engineering disciplines.
n
- Produce plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings from BIM models.
n
- Maintain model accuracy, drawing standards and project documentation.
n




- Manage model revisions and ensure information remains current throughout the project lifecycle.
n
- Support project teams with BIM-related queries and technical coordination.
n
- Ensure models are developed in accordance with project BIM standards and client requirements.

Required Experience nn
- Previous experience working as a BIM Modeller, Structural BIM Modeller, Revit Technician or similar.
n
- Previous experience working on substation or data centre projects would be highly regarded but not essential.
n
- Strong practical experience using Revit is essential.
n
- Background in structural modelling and drafting.
n
- Experience producing coordinated 3D models and detailed construction drawings.
n
- Robust understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination.
n
- Ability to interpret structural and engineering drawings, specifications and design information.
n

Qualifications nn
- Relevant qualification in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Design, Drafting, BIM or a related discipline.
