As the Logistics Coordinator you'llplay a pivotal role in maintaining efficiency and excellence in our logistics operations.

Your Role

n

Oversee Daily Logistics Operations: Ensure efficient delivery to growers and dealers across multiple regions, promptly resolving any issues that arise.

n

Coordinating Purchase of Raw Materials: Working with our production and finance team on procurement of raw materials, coordinating their arrival and scheduling their incorporating into the production schedule.

n

Scheduling & Dispatch Coordination: Create, manage, and communicate effective scheduling plans and dispatch requirements to ensure smooth operations.

n

Transport Liaison: Collaborate with transport providers to arrange timely, cost-effective pickups and deliveries.

n

Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Monitor inventory levels, proactively addressing any supply chain constraints to ensure product availability.

n

Storage Tank Management: Prepare and manage rental agreements for storage tanks, including delivery and movement logistics.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Maintain clear and proactive communication with the sales team to optimise order planning, whilst aligning with operational priorities to ensure the timely manufacturing and delivery of products.

What We're Looking For

n





Proven Logistics Experience: Extensive background in logistics or supply chain coordination, preferably within agricultural or manufacturing sectors.

n

In-Depth Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics operations, raw material procurement, including inventory management, transportation, and supply chain processes.

n

Effective Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders using clear and concise verbal and written communication.

n

Technical Proficiency: Experienced with logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

n

Strong Organisational & Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent at managing details, solving issues quickly, and staying organised in a fast-paced environment.

n

Safety & Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of logistics safety regulations and compliance standards, with a proactive approach to improving processes and reducing costs.
