Surgery Vet Nurse | Part-time or Full-time hours

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Surgery Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in veterinary nursing with a specific focus on surgical procedures.

This position is available either Part-time or Full-time and offers the opportunity to work alongside leading veterinary specialists and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care!

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care
n
- Maintaining surgical suites and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality
n
- Providing support in anesthesia administration and monitoring
n
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition
n
- Providing compassionate care to patients and their families, offering education and support as needed
n
- Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care
n

Requirements:

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification
n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary nursing role, with a focus on surgical procedures
n
- Strong knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and protocols
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
n
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their caregivers
n
- Willingness to be on-call for emergency specialised surgical procedures
n
