Job Description

Birdon invites applications for a Fitter Leading Hand in Port Macquarie, NSW, to oversee tradespeople on Birdon Marine projects, ensuring safety, quality and technical standards.

You will manage a team, support risk assessments, set up sites, train apprentices and model qualified conduct in line with Birdon's values. The role offers a 4-day work week, with overtime Friday to Sunday, and a central NSW coastal location with diverse defence and marine projects.
