The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of fabrication duties, working from drawings and specifications to produce high-quality steel and aluminium components and structures. You will work closely with our fabrication and welding team to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and within required timeframes.
Key responsibilities n

- Fabricating steel and aluminium components and structures
n
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and workshop plans
n
- Measuring, marking, cutting, drilling and preparing materials
n
- MIG/TIG welding and general welding duties
n
- Grinding, sanding and finishing fabricated products
n
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
n
- Ensuring fabricated products meet required specifications and quality standards
n
- Assisting with installation and site work when required
n
- Loading and unloading materials
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
n
About you nn
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fabricator or Metal Fabricator
n
- Strong experience working with steel and/or aluminium
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
n
- Competent welding and fabrication skills
n
- Good knowledge of fabrication tools and workshop equipment
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Ability to accurately measure and work to specifications
n
- Positive problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
