About the Role

This position offers a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist the prospect to provide high-quality,



evidence-based subspecialist care to women with gynaecological malignancies within Victoria’s largest and most comprehensive gynaecology service. The role encompasses comprehensive clinical care, multidisciplinary collaboration, teaching and leadership with a strong commitment to patient-centred care, equity of access, and continuous quality improvement with scope for incorporation of research and service development.

Successful applicants will be expected to participate in the following domains:

Deliver subspecialist inpatient, outpatient, and procedural care for patients with gynaecological cancers, including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and palliative care.

Perform advanced gynaecological oncology surgery consistent with credentialing and scope of practice across various Monash Health surgical sites

Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and contribute to coordinated treatment planning.

Provide on-call services as part of the consultant roster.

Ensure care is culturally safe and aligned with national clinical guidelines.
