Our client, a well-established organisation based in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced, hands-on SAP SuccessFactors Functional Consultant to own the configuration, security, and stability of their SuccessFactors landscape.

This role focuses on Employee Central and Recruiting. It's a excellent opportunity for a configuration specialist who enjoys working independently and being the go-to technical authority for the platform. This is a hands‐on, build‐and‐configure role.

About the Role

- Permanent, full‐time position
n
- Mainly on‐site, with 1 day WFH (flexible) - Brisbane based
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Own end‐to‐end configuration of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Recruiting, including security and role‐based permissions (RBP)
n
- Plan and execute SuccessFactors releases, patches, and bi‐annual upgrades, including impact assessment and regression testing
n
- Configure and maintain Employee Central data models, business rules, workflows, MDF objects, and picklists
n
- Monitor system performance, data integrity, and platform health — proactively identifying and resolving issues
n
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex incidents and service requests, ensuring SLAs are met
n




- Document system configuration and standard operating procedures
n
- Liaise with SAP support and internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Payroll) to translate business requirements into system configuration
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- 8+ years of overall SAP experience, including a minimum of 5 years dedicated to SAP SuccessFactors configuration
n
- Proven experience as a functional/configuration consultant on at least one full‐cycle SuccessFactors implementation or major upgrade
n
- Strong hands‐on, technical configuration expertise in Employee Central — business rules, workflows, MDF, and the RBP security model
n
- Strong hands‐on experience configuring SuccessFactors Recruiting
n
- SAP SuccessFactors certification(s) in relevant modules required (e.g. Employee Central, Recruiting Management)
n
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
n
- Note: this is a hands‐on configuration/technical role — candidates whose background is primarily business analysis or requirements gathering (without deep, hands‐on configuration experience) will not be a fit
