Role: Financial Data Analyst

Compensation: $80,000-110,000 + Super

What You’ll Do n

n
- Build,maintainand improve Python tools and scripts used for large finance datasets, reconciliations,validationand exception reporting
n
- Use Python and SQL to extract, transform, join,validateandanalysefinancial and operational data from multiple sources
n
- Automate finance and reconciliation processes while keeping strong controls,auditabilityand clear documentation in place
n
- Investigate reconciliation breaks and data issues to find the root cause across accounting treatment, source data,systemsand operations
n
- Prepare and improve reconciliations across loan books, repayments, bank or payment data, and other balance-sheet or operational accounts
n
- Support Power BI reporting, month-end work and transactional accounting when needed — this is a hands-on accounting and data role, not a pure FP&A; seat

WhoWe're Looking For n

This role will suit you ifyou'recomfortable moving between Python work, detailedreconciliationsand day-to-day finance support.

Must-haves:

n

n
- Strong hands-on Python andpandascapability,



including writing,debuggingandmaintainingscripts used for reconciliation,validationand finance process improvement
n
- Strong SQL skills for querying, joining,transformingandvalidatinglarge datasets from multiple sources
n
- Practical Power BI experience, including supporting reporting outputs with reconciled and reliable underlying data
n
- Solid accounting and reconciliation experience, with the ability to investigate differences to root cause rather than just report variances
n
- Mid-level experience in a hands-on individual contributor role where you've independently owned reconciliations, datainvestigationsand script support, while staying willing to help with month-end and transactional accounting work
n

- Git or other version-control experience

- Experience in lending,paymentsor another high-volume transaction environment
n
- Exposure to loan-book, repayment,bankor payment-data reconciliations
n
- A background in growing finance environments where accounting, operational and system data need to be cross-checked regularly
