The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP ) is seeking an experienced Coordinator to support the CDPP to fulfil its purpose through the delivery of a broad range of support services to the legal practice groups in accordance with our national service offer, operational requirements, and performance standards.
About the role n
The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that day-to-day support services meet the evolving operational needs of the legal practice groups. They also play a supporting role in broader business improvement initiatives and projects, including the implementation of digital litigation capability as part of the CDPP’s broader transformation agenda.

The Coordinator will:
n
n
- Supervise a team in a dynamic operating environment;
n
- Operate under limited direction and be responsible for prioritisation, allocation, and monitoring of work requests within their team;
n
- Build team capability by providing coaching, mentoring and targeted training to support and develop individuals within their team and provide regular feedback on performance; and
n
- Manage and support change to assist with the achievement of broader workgroup objectives and strategic direction, using data and evidence driven approaches for improvement and anticipating and establishing work priorities.

The key duties of the position include: n
In addition to meeting the Integrated Leadership System profile of the APS Level 6, primary outcomes and accountabilities will involve:
n
n
- Supervising a team to deliver efficient and contemporary support services for the legal practice groups with high-quality assurance;
n
- Providing accurate and timely specialist advice and guidance on the service catalogue, policy, systems, and process to management;
n
- Contributing to the CDPP’s digital transformation agenda and broader business improvement strategies and leading the implementation of change within the team;
n
- Understanding, supporting, and communicating decisions using good judgement, information from diverse sources and being sensitive to the operating environment;
n
- Performing research and analysis across a range of complex issues to inform decisions, planning, policy, and procedure;
n
- Developing, supporting, and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships to achieve work area and agency goals, anticipating, and responding to stakeholder needs and expectations;
n
- Providing direction to the work area, including setting priorities, monitoring workflow, and ensuring quality outputs in accordance with relevant policies, frameworks and service offers;
n
- Managing, monitoring, and reviewing team and individual performance, providing guidance and regular feedback while promoting a positive team-work culture; and
n
- Collaborating with relevant business areas and contributing to broader CDPP and APS objectives.

Eligibility nn
- The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Baseline security clearance is required.
n
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) security clearance. Commencement with a Baseline clearance required, with NV2 to be obtained within a reasonable period of commencement.
n
- Australian Citizenship .
n

- Knowledge and experience with managing the delivery of a broad range of support services in a government and/or legal environment; and

- Experience in leading and managing teams.
