Double R & S Painters Pty Ltd (trading as DRS Painters), ABN , is a Brisbane-based painting business looking for an experienced Painter to join our team at our Mansfield workshop and on client sites across the Brisbane region.n
nAbout the rolen
nYou will deliver quality interior and exterior finishes on residential and commercial projects, working from initial site set-up through to final clean-up, on your own and as part of a crew.n
nDuties and responsibilitiesn
n•Set up work areas, including scaffolding and ladders, and protect floors, fittings and neighbouring surfaces from paint and dustn
n•Prepare surfaces by stripping old coatings, repairing timber, filling cracks and holes, sanding, and sealing or priming as neededn
n•Choose and mix paints, stains, varnishes and tinting additives to achieve the required colour and consistencyn
n•Apply paints, varnishes and other coatings by brush, roller and spray equipmentn
n•Hang wallpaper,



matching patterns and trimming edges cleanlyn
n•Carry out minor repairs to timber window frames, and where required, minor tiling repairsn
n•Clean, maintain and store tools and equipment, and leave sites tidy and safen
nSkills and experience requiredn
n•Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalentn
n•At least 2 years' relevant experience as a paintern
n•Positive knowledge of surface preparation and coating systemsn
n•Ability to read job instructions, work to deadlines and maintain a high standard of finishn
n•Valid driver's licence and reliable transport preferredn
n•White Card (construction induction) required, or willingness to obtain one before startingn
nSalary and conditionsn
nFull-time, permanent. Annual salary of AUD$ 81,000 plus superannuation
