About the role

Are you passionate about supporting Aboriginal children, young people, and families to stay strong, connected, and thriving? Join VACCA as a Family Services Case Manager and play a meaningful role in walking alongside families across the East Metro region on their journey toward positive and lasting change.

In this rewarding role, you will build trusted relationships with families, providing culturally protected outreach support in their homes and communities. Through a strength based and culturally grounded approach, you will help strengthen parenting, support family wellbeing, foster connections to culture and community, and link families with the services and opportunities they need. About You

n

You are passionate about supporting Aboriginal children, young people, and families to thrive. You bring strong case management experience, a culturally safe and strengths-based approach, and a commitment to building trusted relationships with families, community, and service partners.

n

You are organised, adaptable, and confident in developing support plans, coordinating services, facilitating meetings, and maintaining accurate records. Most importantly, you value collaboration, continuous learning,



and working alongside families to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

- Desirable:
n
- Substantial experience working in the child, family, community services and/or disability services sector, including experience supporting vulnerable children, young people and families with complex needs.
n
- Requirements:
n
- A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Work, Welfare Studies, Human Services or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
n
- Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination(Strongly Recommended)
