MSS is a multi-service not-for-profit with a mission to enhance the quality of people's lives by providing services which enable them to live with dignity and respect.

MSS has an exciting opportunity for a Home Support Worker - Domestic Assistance - across Taree, Forster and Port Macquarie. This rewarding role is a great way to enter into the aged care sector, providing valuable experience with future opportunities available to progress into a qualified Home Support Worker with a Cert III qualification.

Our Home Support Worker - Domestic, provides our clients with domestic assistance within their homes.

Selection Criteria

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
- Current NSW provisional or full driver's license
- Reliable motor vehicle (including valid NSW registration and minimum third-party property damage insurance)
- Smart mobile phone or device with access to the internet and experience using smartphone applications
- Previous experience in domestic cleaning, housekeeping, home care, aged care, hospitality, or a similar role
- Willing to undertake a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check at MSS's expense
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment fitness assessment (PEFA) at MSS's expense
- Due to the quantity of domestic assistance, which includes manual handling and requires an adequate level of fitness,



candidates who pass the interview stage are required to attend a pre-employment fitness assessment, coordinated and paid for by MSS.
