We are currently seeking a Mine Ventilation Technician to join our Underground Mining team at Tropicana Gold Mine, reporting to the Underground Mining Engineer – Projects and Infrastructure.

n

This role is based at Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster, with direct flights provided to site from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie.

About the Role n

n
- Monitor the underground ventilation system to ensure a safe working atmosphere for all employees
n
- Audit ventilation infrastructure to ensure compliance with approved ventilation plans
n
- Prepare and distribute ventilation plans
n
- Provide ventilation-specific input into mine plans and schedules
n
- Complete statutory ventilation surveys of the primary and secondary ventilation networks
n




- Manage the secondary fan register and arrange maintenance and change-outs as required
n
- Assist with underground infrastructure and project work as directed
n
