Position available for a single or couple on a 300-cow dairy farm.
The role involves working around dairy cattle and in a busy farm setting with versatile working days to meet the needs of the business.
Key responsibilities
Working around dairy cattle and in a busy farm environment
Being comfortable working in heat, cold, dust, mud, dirt and flies
Flexible working days to meet the needs of the business
Fetching cows from paddock, milking, feeding calves, feeding fodder, operating dairy plant and heavy machinery and equipment, cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for both the animals and people.
About you
Reliable and hardworking
Comfortable working in a genuine farm environment
Previous dairy or farm experience is preferred
Strong work ethic is essential
Positive communication and strong spoken English are essential
Above-award wages
Accommodation: An older caravan is provided near the working dairy, with toilet and shower facilities located close by
