What this role is all about

n

We’re looking for an experienced energy and sustainability (ESD) professional to help grow our Queensland capability and contribute to our national sustainability team.

n

You’ll work on projects that make a genuine difference, build strong relationships with clients and help strengthen Lucid’s reputation for practical, high-quality sustainable design advice. You’ll also support and coordinate the local team, drawing on the knowledge and experience of more than 360 people across Lucid.

n

This is an opportunity to shape the role around your experience, whether your strengths sit in energy services, environmentally sustainable design, decarbonisation or climate resilience.

How you’ll contribute day-to-day

n

n
- Deliver practical energy and sustainability advice across a range of building and infrastructure projects.
n
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with existing clients and develop new connections across the Queensland market.
n
- Help grow Lucid’s local profile through strong client service and high-quality work.
n
- Coordinate the Queensland team so work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
n




- Work closely with colleagues across our national sustainability team and broader business.
n
- Support clients with work such as sustainable design, energy efficiency, energy audits, decarbonisation, climate resilience and environmental rating tools, including Green Star and NABERS.
n
- Balance strong outcomes for clients with the commercial needs of the team and business.

What sets you up for success

To thrive in this role, you’ll be someone who:

- Cares about achieving meaningful sustainability outcomes, not simply producing reports.
n
- Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with clients, project partners and colleagues.
n
- Understands Queensland’s design and construction market and brings established industry relationships or a solid professional profile.
n
- Can lead and coordinate others while remaining hands-on when needed.
n
- Thinks commercially and understands how to deliver value for clients while running work profitably.
n
- Has experience in one or more of the following areas: energy services, sustainable building design, decarbonisation or climate resilience.
n
- Holds an Australian-recognised qualification in engineering, architecture, sustainability or another relevant technical field.

- Has Australian citizenship or permanent working rights in Australia, preferably.
