Aesthetic Building and Facades Pty Ltd is seeking a WHSEQ (Work Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) Officer to join their agile team. This full-time position is based in Sydney, NSW and will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's commitment to the highest standards of health, safety, environment and quality across all construction projects.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Develop, implement and monitor health, safety, environment and quality management systems and procedures
n
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks
n
- Provide training and support to site teams to promote a strong safety culture
n
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions
n
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
n
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate WHSEQ into daily operations
n




- Prepare and present WHSEQ reports for management and regulatory bodies
n
- Continually seek opportunities to improve WHSEQ systems and processes
n

About you nn
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Management or a related field
n
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar WHSEQ role, preferably within the construction industry
n
- Thorough knowledge of relevant health, safety, environmental and quality legislation and regulations
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all stakeholders
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
n
- Proven track record in developing and implementing WHSEQ systems and policies
n
- Proficient in the use of relevant software and technologies
n
