Job Description

AkzoNobel is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Wetherill Park Warehouse, supporting the efficient distribution and sale of our products across the local market. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee warehouse operations, stock control, customer service, HSE compliance and team coordination, while driving continuous improvements in efficiency and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Wetherill Park Warehouse, ensuring safe, productive and timely service.
n
- Plan warehouse activities and allocate tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and achievement of stock control targets.
n
- Lead and support warehouse team members, including developing their skills and capabilities.
n
- Maintain accurate stock control, including cycle counts, annual stocktake and SLOB (slow-moving and obsolete stock) management.
n
- Coordinate the receipt, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch of products.
n
- Tint paint and load vehicles when required, while maintaining a robust focus on safety and quality.
n
- Manage warehouse layout and support planning for future product range expansion.

- Ensure effective processing of warehouse documentation, data entry and administration.
n




- Maintain high standards of customer service and liaise effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
n
- Facilitate monthly site safety meetings, conduct regular HSE audits and ensure compliance with company HSE standards.

About you

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution supervisory role.
n
- Strong people leadership and team coordination skills.
n
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
- A strong customer service mindset and the ability to build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
n
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and robust Microsoft Office and email skills.
n
- Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and stock control.
n
- A demonstrated commitment to HSE, process compliance and continuous improvement.
n
- The ability to work hands-on and support operational activities when required.
n
- Flexibility, initiative and a practical approach to solving operational challenges.
