SDR Fire Solutions is looking for an experienced Sprinkler Project Manager to join our Melbourne team. The role will involve full end-to-end management of sprinkler projects, taking ownership from pre-construction and handover through to completion and close-out.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Full end-to-end management of sprinkler projects
n
- Programming and forward planning of works
n
- Labour planning, forecasting and allocation
n
- Managing supervisors, sprinkler fitters, apprentices and subcontractors
n
- Working directly with builders, consultants and other trades
n
- Reviewing drawings and coordinating installation requirements
n
- Procurement and material planning
n
- Managing RFIs, variations and changes in scope
n
- Monitoring project costs, progress and commercial performance
n
- Managing commissioning, handover, Practical Completion and defects
n

About you nn
- Experienced Sprinkler Project Manager with strong understanding of sprinkler installation and project delivery
n




- Comfortable managing multiple projects and dealing directly with builders
n
- Able to make decisions without needing constant direction
n
- Strong working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, particularly AS 2118
n
- Practical understanding of delivering sprinkler projects on construction sites
n
- Organised, commercially aware and communicates well
n
- Takes ownership of projects
n
