We’re expanding and looking for a hands‑on Rubber/Mechanical Supervisor to lead our team in Lithgow, NSW. What you’ll be doing nn
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of belt splicers, trainees, and trades staff
n
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure protected, efficient site operations
n
- Plan and oversee shutdowns, inspections, and audits
n
- Work hands‑on when needed – pulley, bearing, and mechanical maintenance
n
- Drive a safety-first culture – ensure full compliance with WHSE standards
n
- Engage directly with clients to maintain strong relationships and high service standards
n
- Promote reliability and continuous improvement across all site activities
n

What we’re looking for nn
- Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical (Fabrication-qualified applicants also considered)
n
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
n
- Leadership skills – ability to coach, mentor, and lead by example
n
- Dogging & Rigging tickets highly regarded
n
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
n
- Commitment to WHSE excellence and safe work practices
n
- Ability to work independently , adapt to changing site conditions, and manage multiple tasks
