About the role n

This is a hands-on role. You will lead the team and also help on the production floor when needed. You will organise the daily work and help the team work safely, on time and to a good standard.

- Lead and support the day-shift production team.




n
- Give team members their daily work.
n
- Help the team meet safety, quality and production targets.
n
- Train new employees and show them secure ways to work.
n
- Help solve daily work or team problems.
n
- Keep simple and accurate production records.
n
- Tell managers about progress, issues and support needed.
n
- Help with stock control and workplace improvement projects.
n
- Work on the production floor when needed.
n

About you n

You enjoy working with people and helping a team succeed. You are fair, respectful and calm. You can give clear instructions and are happy to work alongside your team.

- Experience leading a team in production, manufacturing, warehousing or a similar workplace.
n
- Good people skills and the ability to train and support others.
n
- A strong focus on safety and doing quality work.
n
- Good planning and problem-solving skills.
n
- Basic written and computer skills for work records.
n
- Desirable: 3 or more years of people-management experience.
n
- Desirable: Stock control experience.
n
- Desirable: Project or workplace improvement experience.
n
- Laundry experience is welcome but not required.
n
