Day-to-Day Responsibilities: n

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring high plant reliability and minimal downtime through proactive and reactive maintenance.

n

- Execute daily preventative maintenance schedules across all plant equipment.
n
- Rapidly troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical breakdowns in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Maintain, overhaul, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mixers, industrial presses, and bulk material conveyors.
n
- Perform basic manual machining, component fitting, and light welding/fabrication as required.
n
- Drive a strong safety-first culture by adhering to strict WHS standards and risk assessments.
n

About You: n

To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong trade background, a knack for practical problem-solving, and a reliable work ethic.

n

n
- Trade Qualification: Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade / Fitting & Turning) or recognized Equivalent.
n
- Experience: 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or heavy industrial facility.
n
- Technical Skills: Sound fault-finding expertise in hydraulics and pneumatics , alongside basic manual machining and light welding skills.
n
- Safety First: A continuous commitment to Workplace Health & Safety (WHS).
n
- Tickets (Desirable): Forklift License (LF) or Elevated Work Platform (EWP) tickets are strong advantages.
n
