Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this is a senior, hands on Contract Manager role responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle management of the organisation's key Facility Management agreements, along with a diverse portfolio of project delivery contracts.

Operating in a live, high risk, high traffic setting, you will balance commercial outcomes, risk management, compliance and stakeholder relationships to ensure consistent service delivery and operational excellence across the market precinct.

Key responsibilities: n

- Lead the strategic management, review and negotiation of Facility Management contracts, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and legislative requirements.

- Manage a portfolio of project delivery contracts (construction, fit‑out, equipment and consultancy) from procurement through to closeout.
n
- Oversee contract administration including variations, extensions of time, progress claims, payment certifications and final accounts.
n
- Monitor and report on contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, budgets and quality standards.
n
- Provide expert contractual advice to internal stakeholders including Operations, Facilities,



Projects, Finance and Legal.

About you nn
- Proven experience managing FM and/or project delivery contracts within asset intensive or operationally complex environments.
n
- Strong working knowledge of contracts, procurement principles and risk management.
n
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence and resolve disputes with stakeholders and external providers.
n
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a practical and solutions focused mindset.
n
- A tertiary qualification in business, law or a related discipline (desirable).
n
