About the Role
n
Working as part of a qualified transport team, you will be responsible for safely transporting coal between site operations to Gunnedah CHPP using A-Double side tippers. This is a dedicated local haul within the Gunnedah Basin, offering consistent workloads and reliable hours without long distance travel.
n
Available shift options include:
n
n
- Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
n
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - midnight
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Operate A-Double side tipper combinations safely and efficiently
n
- Complete pre-start inspections and required compliance documentation
n
- Follow site procedures and safety standards at all times
n
- Work collaboratively with site personnel to maintain efficient operations
n
- Ensure vehicles are maintained to a high operational standard through daily checks
n
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and professionalism and possess:
n
n
- Current HC/MC Driver Licence
n
- Current RMS Driving Record
n
- Ability to pass NSW Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity Evaluation including drug and alcohol testing
n
- Able to complete police check and complete online inductions
n
- Excellent driving history and safety awareness
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- Previous heavy vehicle driving experience
n
- Side tipper or rear tipper experience (preferred, however training can be provided)
n
n
Applicants should either reside in the Gunnedah region or be willing to relocate for this opportunity.
