An exciting chance is available for an experienced
Solution Architect
to join a significant
multi-year healthcare technology transformation program
.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused architecture role where you will provide technical leadership across the program and act as a key technical interface between internal delivery teams and the selected technology supplier.
What You'll Be Doing
Provide end-to-end solution architecture leadership across a major healthcare transformation program.
Develop and maintain the target-state solution architecture.
Act as a technical design authority and key technical contact for the program.
Define and guide
integration architecture, healthcare data flows and data migration approaches
.
Provide technical direction across
HL7, FHIR, healthcare data, integration and migration
.
Work closely with technology suppliers, delivery teams and senior program stakeholders.
Identify and manage architectural dependencies, risks and technical decisions.
Establish architecture principles, standards, artefacts and decision records.
Translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support and potentially build and lead technical teams across areas such as integration and data migration.




What We're Looking For
We are seeking a technically strong and hands-on Solution Architect with:
Robust
healthcare technology experience
.
Demonstrated knowledge of
HL7 and FHIR
.
Robust understanding of
healthcare data sets and data flows
.
Extensive experience with
integration architecture
.
Strong understanding of
data migration from an architecture and technical perspective
.
Experience working on complex transformation or large-scale technology programs.
Confidence working directly with major technology vendors and suppliers.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to lead, influence and provide technical direction to multidisciplinary teams.
A practical, delivery-focused approach with the ability to work at a detailed technical level.
Previous
EMR experience is highly regarded but is not mandatory
. Candidates from broader healthcare technology backgrounds will be considered where they can demonstrate strong healthcare data, HL7/FHIR, integration and data migration expertise.
Experience working directly with clinicians is
not required
