Your new role - Senior Import Coordinator
n The Senior Import Coordinator is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

n

n
- Liaising with customers and overseas offices to coordinate import enquiries and shipments
n
- Registering import shipments in Carowise (CW1) and coordinating import clearance formalities with PFS Customs Broker.
n
- Coordinating AQIS inspections and formalities
n
- Monitoring progress of customs and quarantine clearance via ICs and communicating the outcome to the customer
n




- Coordinating deliveries of customs released freight to destination and de-hire containers to empty depots
n
- Preparing & issuing RFQ's to internal & external customers
n
- Completing billing process; timely and accurately coding of supplier's invoices and preparing files for handover to Accounts as per contracted rate agreements
n
- Deliver a very high level of customer service to all parties
n
- Participating in general office tasks as required
n

What you'll need to succeed

n

n
- Minimum 2 – 3 years' experience in a similar position
n
- Senior Import Coordinator experience
n
- Knowledge of customs and freight forwarding terminology
n
- Current exposure to & use of CW1 - quoting & file management
n
- Strong problem-solving skills
n
