About the Prospect n
Ascend Legal Talent is assisting an established Sydney legal practice in its search for a Solicitor to join its team, with a particular focus on Family Law and Wills & Estates .
n
This opportunity would suit a solicitor with approximately two years of relevant experience who is comfortable managing matters with an appropriate level of independence while continuing to develop under the guidance of experienced practitioners.
n
The practice offers a flexible working arrangement, combining work from home with attendance at its Chatswood office as required.
The Role n
The successful candidate will work across a varied caseload involving Family Law and Wills & Estates matters. Responsibilities may include:
n

- Managing and assisting with Family Law matters from initial instructions through to resolution
n
- Drafting correspondence, court documents, agreements and other legal documents
n
- Conducting legal research and preparing advice
n
- Liaising directly with clients, counsel, courts and other practitioners
n
- Assisting with wills, estate planning and deceased estate matters
n
- Managing files, deadlines and client expectations
n
- Working collaboratively with the Principal Solicitor and broader team
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
- Is admitted to practise in NSW and holds a current practising certificate
n
- Has approximately 2+ years' relevant legal experience
n
- Has experience in Family Law , with exposure to Wills & Estates highly regarded
n
- Has strong drafting and written communication skills
n
- Communicates confidently and professionally with clients
n
- Is organised, dependable and capable of managing competing deadlines
n
- Demonstrates sound judgement and attention to detail
n
- Is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
n
n
