SunSmart Sunshine Coast has an exciting opportunity an experienced Solar and Battery Installer. This full-time role is based in Warana and will involve the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial systems across the Sunshine Coast region.
What you'll be doing n
n
- Safely install and commission solar PV systems and batteries according to industry standards and regulations
n
- Undertake solar panel, inverter and battery installations, including mounting, cabling and connection to the electrical grid
n
- Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding
n
- Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients throughout the installation process
n
- Work as part of a team to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard and on time
n
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for each installation where applicable
n
- Mentor apprentices where required
n
What we're looking for nn
- Current Electrical Work Licence
n
- SAA Accreditation for Solar & Battery Design and Install
n
- Minimum 4 years experience in the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar and battery systems
n
- Strong knowledge of solar & battery power system design, components and installation techniques (or eagerness to learn and upskill)
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical job cards
n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
n
- A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
n
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
