ER Seven Painting Pty Ltd is a professional painting contractor servicing Brisbane and surrounding areas. We undertake residential, commercial and industrial painting projects and are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable service and safe working practices.

We are currently seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Painting Trades Worker to join our team on a full time basis.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

n

Erecting and safely using ladders, trestles, scaffolding and drop sheets to protect fixtures and surrounding areas.

n

Preparing surfaces by removing old or damaged paint, wallpaper and rust, filling cracks and holes, sanding surfaces and applying primers, sealers and undercoats.

n

Selecting, matching, mixing and preparing paints, stains and other coatings to meet project specifications.

n

Applying paints, varnishes, stains and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and airless spray equipment.

n

Masking and protecting surfaces, fixtures and adjoining areas before painting.

n

Completing interior and exterior painting works across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

n

Ensuring finished surfaces meet required quality and workmanship standards.

n

Cleaning, maintaining and safely storing brushes, rollers, spray equipment, tools and other painting equipment.

n

Following workplace health and safety procedures and site-specific requirements at all times.

n





Working effectively with supervisors, other trades and team members to meet project schedules and quality requirements.

n

Maintaining clean and organised work areas throughout and upon completion of each project.

Qualifications and Experience

n

Applicants should have:

n

An AQF Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent relevant trade qualification; or

n

At least 3 years of relevant painting trade experience where a formal qualification is not held.

n

Relevant practical, hands-on experience performing professional painting and decorating work.

n

Demonstrated experience with surface preparation, brush and roller application and airless spray painting.

n

Knowledge of paints, primers, sealers, protective coatings and appropriate application methods.

n

Ability to work safely and follow WHS requirements.

n

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

n

A current White Card and valid driver's licence are highly regarded.

Salary and Conditions

n

Annual Salary: AUD $79,600 per annum, excluding superannuation.

n

Superannuation will be paid in addition to the above salary in accordance with applicable Australian legislation.

n

This is a full-time position based in Brisbane, with work undertaken at various project sites across Brisbane and surrounding areas.
