n Lake House is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team in Daylesford. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic chance to contribute to our experienced front-of-house service team and deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As the Bar Supervisor, you will be instrumental in setting the standard for service excellence, and ensuring that every guest interaction reflects our commitment to hospitality and quality. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for the hospitality industry who is ready to take make a meaningful impact on our restaurant's success.

Key responsibilities n

Delivering outstanding, attentive service to guests whilst maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy

n

Creating bespoke cocktails while deomnstrating detailed knowledge of our menu offerings and wine selection

n

Ensuring the bar is stocked and set correctly and maintained throughout service, with meticulous attention to detail

n

Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and a solutions-focused approach

n

Maintaining knowledge of current menu items, specials, and promotional offerings to enhance the guest experience

n

Assisting with inventory management, restocking of service items, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area

n

Supporting the restaurant team during peak service periods and special events

What we're looking for n

Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor, train, and motivate junior staff members

n





Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering memorable dining experiences

n

Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairing and menu knowledge

n

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and team members

n

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

n

Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it

n

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

n

A professional appearance and polished demeanour
