Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support a major technology program within the utilities sector. You’ll shape target-state data architecture and provide expertise across data modelling, governance, integration and migration within a complex enterprise setting.

Key Responsibilities n

n
- Assess existing data models, flows, mappings and data quality
n
- Define business data domains, key objects and conceptual/logical models
n
- Establish data ownership, mastership, lineage and governance requirements
n
- Define target and interim data architecture
n
- Develop canonical definitions and target mastership arrangements
n
- Define data migration architecture across extraction, cleansing, transformation and reconciliation
n
- Align APIs, event payloads, reporting and downstream data requirements
n
- Work across business, architecture, technical and vendor teams
n

Key Requirements nn




- Strong experience as a Data Architect within large enterprise transformation programs
n
- Robust conceptual and logical data modelling capability
n
- Experience across master data, metadata, lineage, data quality and governance
n
- Strong data migration and integration architecture experience
n
- Ability to translate business processes into data requirements and architecture
n
- Experience working across complex enterprise technology environments
n
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
n

Highly Regarded nn
- Utilities, energy or regulated industry experience
n
- Australian energy market and metering data knowledge
n
- SAP IS-U or similar enterprise platform experience
n
- Exposure to AWS, Redshift, Databricks, Salesforce, Itron, Oracle Fusion or webMethods
n
- Experience supporting complex phased migrations
n
