About the role

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electricians at our current Melbourne site.

Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying electrical issues, potential failures and providing preventative maintenance to the site's automated farming equipment to ensure maximum uptime and prolonged reliability.

This is a hands-on leadership role, and as the site scales you'll build and lead a growing team of electricians.

What you'll do

- Manage the maintenance team's response to preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Formulate maintenance strategies that align with production requirements and the long-term goals of the maintenance department.
- Lead fault finding and diagnosis
- Promote a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring compliance
- Ensure the execution of safety and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities and manage corrective actions in a timely manner
- Drive asset management standards by implementing robust maintenance standards




- Execute the maintenance plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines, and allocating resources appropriately
- Implementation of reliability improvement strategies and practices through the analysis of key performance indicators
- Contribute to the capital planning process by identifying areas where improvements can be made
- Openly communicate and involve the entire workforce to set high safety standards and confront risks

What you'll bring

- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
- High Risk Work Licence, EWP (WP) 11m+
- Working at Heights
- Experience leading teams in a similar maintenance environment.
- Keen ability for problem solving and a strong commitment to driving process improvements and best practices.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and process control instrumentation
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and foster a strong team culture.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work.
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
