Chef | Blue Care | Toowoomba Aged Care Facility

Employment Term: Full time position - Monday to Friday (between 8am and 5pm). Must be available to work weekends when required.
Location: Toowoomba Aged Care Facility

Remuneration: $31.44 per hour + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

About the role:

This is a great opportunity for a Chef or highly experienced Cook aiming to restore their work life balance and gain employment in one of Australia’s fastest growing industries with the following tasks:

- Prepare, cook and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standards.
- Support senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementation.
- Promote quality standards and maintain service with standard operating procedures.

Role requirements:

- Hold a relevant trade qualification CertificateIII in Commercial Cookery (Australia) or above.
- Have3 years minimum experience as a qualified Chef.
- Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards.
- Have proven experience in safe food preparation, storage and delivery.
- Have a clear understanding of WHS.
- Be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation and demonstrate the following:
