Part-Time Basketball Coach & Competition Supervisor /n

The position is approximately 20 hours per week, primarily across weekday afternoons/evenings and Sundays. This is a hands‑on basketball role combining junior coaching, competition supervision and venue operations. Sunday availability is essential, with Sundays generally running from approximately 8:00am–5:00pm.

Key responsibilities /n

- Coaching junior basketball teams, training sessions and skills programs

/n

- Supervising EBL competition venues

/n

- Setting up venues and ensuring games run to schedule

/n

- Scoring games and assisting with game-day operations when required

/n

- Supporting and supervising referees and venue staff

/n

- Communicating with coaches, players and parents on game day

/n

- Helping resolve basic game-day issues

/n

- Ensuring our competitions provide a positive, organised and enjoyable experience

/n

- Assisting with basketball camps, clinics and other EBL programs where required

/n

About you /n

/n





- Basketball coaching or playing experience

/n

- A strong understanding of basketball

/n

- Confidence working with children and teenagers

/n

- Good communication and people skills

/n

- The ability to take responsibility for a venue and make decisions when required

/n

- Solid organisation and punctuality

/n

- A calm and positive approach when dealing with parents, coaches and players

/n

- Availability on Sundays and some weekday afternoons/evenings

/n

- A current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one

/n
