Join Our Team at Northern Disability and Aged Care. /n

Northern Disability and Aged Care provides home and community-based care services to older people. We are seeking reliable, compassionate and experienced Aged Care Workers / Personal Care Workers to support older clients to live safely and independently in their homes and community.

Role Overview /n

The role involves providing practical and personal support to older clients based on their individual needs, care arrangements and service schedule.

Key Responsibilities /n

/n

- Assisting clients with personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing and hygiene support

/n

- Domestic assistance, including light cleaning, laundry and household tasks

/n

- Transport support for appointments, shopping and community access

/n

- Supporting clients with daily routines and independence at home Following care plans and reporting any changes in client needs or risks

/n

- Maintaining accurate shift notes and communication records





/n

- Providing respectful, person-centred and culturally appropriate care

/n

- Following workplace health and safety, infection control and privacy requirements

/n

Skill & Experience /n

/n

- Experience in aged care, home care, community care or a similar support role

/n

- A caring, respectful and reliable approach

/n

- Ability to work independently in clients’ homes

/n

- Valuable communication and documentation skills

/n

- Current Australian driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle

/n

- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

/n

- Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain

/n

- National Police Check or willingness to obtain

/n

- First Aid and CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain

/n

- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays and some weekends if required

/n
