The Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join the team, focusing on the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a large fleet of trucks and trailers. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has a sharp eye for detail, and wants to buy into a reputable industry brand.

Key Responsibilities
n
n




Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers.
n
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
n
Perform engine overhauls, brake repairs, and suspension work.
n
Maintain accurate service records and ensure all repairs meet safety standards.Mentor and provide technical support to apprentices as required.
n
Respond to emergency breakdowns using the field service unit when needed.
n

What We Are Looking For
n
n
Trade Qualified: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
n
Experienced: Solid background in heavy vehicle maintenance and diagnostics.
n
Skilled: High standards regarding attendance, punctuality, and efficiency.
n
Safety-Minded: Strict adherence to WHS policies and roadworthy compliance.
n
Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.
n
Licensed: Current driver's licence (HR or higher is highly desirable).
