We are a busy and rapidly growing roadside assistance, mechanical workshop and towing business looking for a capable, organised and proactive Service & Operations Coordinator to join our team.

n

Working directly with the Directors, this is a key role within the business. You will take responsibility for the day-to-day running and coordination of our workshop, towing and roadside assistance operations - keeping jobs, staff, customers, parts, bookings and logistics moving smoothly.

This is a hands-on operational role combining coordination, administration, customer service and management. We're looking for someone who can think on their feet, solve problems, take initiative and get things done.

What You'll Be Doing

n

Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the workshop, towing and roadside assistance

n

Manage bookings, incoming jobs and customer enquiries

n

Coordinate dispatch, job allocation, scheduling and logistics

n

Coordinate mechanics, tow operators and roadside assistance staff

n

Manage parts ordering and ensure mechanics have what they need to complete jobs

n

Monitor workshop workflow, vehicle movements and job progress

n

Process and manage invoicing across multiple platforms

n

Follow jobs through from booking to completion and invoicing

n

Deal with customers, suppliers, insurers and other stakeholders

n

Troubleshoot issues and find practical solutions

n





Keep the team organised and ensure nothing falls through the cracks

n

Work closely with the Directors to improve and streamline operations

n

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business when the Directors are away

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is organised, confident, practical and naturally takes ownership.

n

You will need to be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, dealing with people, using computer systems, coordinating a busy team and making decisions when things don't go to plan.

n

Experience in automotive, workshop, towing, roadside assistance, transport, logistics, parts, service coordination or operations will be highly regarded.

n

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with initiative, strong communication skills, attention to detail and a genuine "get it done" attitude.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine senior operational role where you'll work directly with the Directors and become a trusted and integral part of the business.

n

You'll have responsibility across the entire operation - from booking the job, ordering the parts and coordinating the team, through to getting the job completed and invoiced.

n

$80,000 - $90,000, depending on experience.

n

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm

n

Occasional after-hours/on-call responsibility may be required when the Directors are away.
