Labourforce is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator to join a busy transport and warehouse operation based in Hillcrest, QLD.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident operating forklifts, comfortable working in a yard environment, and isn't afraid to get stuck into general cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping duties.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, putting away stock, maintaining the yard, and keeping sheds and storage areas clean, organised, and safe.

Key Responsibilities

n

n




- Loading and unloading trucks using a counterbalance forklift
n
- Putting away and relocating stock using a high-reach forklift
n
- Maintaining and tidying the yard and surrounding work areas
n
- Cleaning and keeping sheds and storage areas organised
n
- Blowing out sheds, storage areas, and general work areas
n
- General yard maintenance and housekeepingMoving and organising stock throughout the warehouse and yard
n
- Ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and free from hazards
n
- Assisting with general warehouse duties and manual handling as required
n
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Current Forklift (LF) Licence – Essential
n
- Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts
n
- Experience operating a high-reach forklift
n
- Previous warehouse, transport, or yard experience
n
- Comfortable performing general cleaning and yard maintenance duties
n
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
n
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
