Energy Management Specialist
Brisbane | 12-Month Contract | Daily Rate | Hybrid

n

We are seeking an experienced Energy Management Specialist to support a major technology transformation within a critical infrastructure environment.

n

This is a hands‑on technical role supporting existing Energy Management and SCADA platforms while contributing to the transition to a new Advanced Energy Management System.

n

You will work across system performance, troubleshooting, configuration, data, telemetry, alarms, integrations and testing, helping ensure operational continuity throughout the transition.

About the role n

- Providing technical expertise across complex EMS/SCADA and operational technology systems
n
- Troubleshooting system issues, defects and incidents across EMS/SCADA components and integrations
n
- Managing system configuration, data, telemetry mappings and controlled deployments
n
- Supporting FAT, SAT, parallel operations and transition activities
n
- Testing system functionality, data quality and system integrity
n
- Working closely with engineering, operations, project and vendor teams
n
- Supporting the ongoing reliability and availability of real‑time operational systems
n

About you n

We are looking for someone with:

n

n




- Demonstrated experience working with EMS/SCADA systems
n
- Experience operating in real‑time, high‑availability environments
n
- Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution capability
n
- Experience with system configuration, data flows, telemetry and integrations
n
- Experience supporting testing and transition activities, including FAT/SAT
n
- Robust stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
n

n

Experience within electricity transmission, utilities, control systems or other critical infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.

n

Experience with GENe, Emerson Monarch, ICCP, CIM or power system applications will also be advantageous.

Working arrangements n

- 12-month contract

- Brisbane based
n
- Minimum 3 days per week onsite
n
- Standard business hours
n
- Occasional work from a Brisbane-based disaster recovery site
n
