Mills Recruitment is working exclusively with a respected Perth-based engineering consultancy to appoint a Structural Engineer to their growing CBD team.

Our client delivers specialist structural engineering services across Mineral Processing, Renewables, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI), and Commercial developments , supporting projects from concept through to execution. They are recognised for their practical, technically robust solutions and robust client relationships across Western Australia and beyond.

Opportunity. You will join a collaborative and technically capable team, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across the resources and infrastructure sectors. This role offers exposure to complex structural challenges, client‑facing responsibilities, and clear pathways for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

- Structural design calculations and technical reporting for Mining, Renewables, and NPI projects
- Site inspections, investigations, and preparation of associated reports
- Development of engineering sketches and coordination with drafting resources
- Direct engagement with clients to review, discuss, and refine design solutions
- Supporting project delivery with practical,



constructible engineering outcomes

About You

- Degree‑qualified Structural Engineer with 3+ years’ experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel design (Engineers with additional experience may be considered for a Senior role)
- Proven project experience within Mining, Renewables, and Non‑Process Infrastructure environments
- Proficiency in Space Gass, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Australian Standards (Experience with Strand7 is advantageous)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging clients
- High attention to detail and a practical, problem‑solving approach
- Self‑driven, professional, and passionate about delivering high‑quality structural engineering solutions
