Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Group Leader - Stores to support our Stores operation and lead a high-performing team delivering critical warehousing and distribution services across our Kwinana sites.

In this key role, you will oversee daily Stores activities, coordinate operational requirements, and ensure the efficient management of inventory, materials, and distribution services that support business operations. You'll play a pivotal role in fostering a positive team culture while driving safety, performance, and continuous improvement outcomes

Reporting to the Stores Supervisor your key responsibilities will include:

n

- Lead and support a team of Stores personnel, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability and high performance.
n
- Coordinate and oversee daily warehousing and distribution activities.
n
- Ensure the safe storage, handling and distribution of operating spares, supplies, packaged raw materials and fuel.
n
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory, environmental and company requirements.
n
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and eliminate waste.
n
- Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring and identifying learning opportunities.
n
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including Operations, Maintenance, Despatch and Support teams, as well as external suppliers.

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the operation and management of distribution warehousing
n
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to engage, motivate and develop teams.
n
- Strong knowledge of warehousing and distribution management processes and systems.
n
- Experience using SAP or similar enterprise systems.
n
- Well-developed communication, administration and organisational skills.
n
- Strong commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset.
n
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
n
