We are a busy family of six with four school-aged boys , all involved in school, sport and extracurricular activities. We also run a busy family business and are looking for a capable, proactive Household Manager / Family Assistant to help keep our home and family life organised and running smoothly.

This is not a traditional nanny or cleaning role . We retain a regular cleaner for heavier cleaning. The focus is household management — staying one step ahead, creating practical systems and taking ownership of the day-to-day organisation of our home.

Key responsibilities n

Weekly meal planning, grocery shopping and healthy family meal preparation

n
- n

Keeping the pantry, fridge and freezer organised and stocked

n
- n

Laundry, linen, wardrobes and ensuring school and sports uniforms and gear are ready to go

n
- n

Managing family rosters, routines, school, sport and extracurricular schedules

n
- n

Organising household supplies, cupboards and storage

n
- n





Coordinating household and property maintenance — arranging trades and services, obtaining quotes where required, booking appointments and being available for access

n
- n

Keeping track of routine and upcoming maintenance so jobs are organised before they become a problem

n
- n

Day-to-day tidying and keeping the home organised

n
- n

Helping with breakfast and the morning routine from around 7:00am

n
- n

Meeting the boys at the bus stop around 3:30pm when required

n
- n

Occasional school/activity transport and household errands

n

n

We're looking for someone who will genuinely take ownership of running the household . If something needs repairing, servicing, restocking, booking or organising, we'd like you to be comfortable taking the initiative to work out what needs to happen and see it through — rather than waiting for a daily list of tasks.

About you n

We’re looking for someone who is naturally organised, reliable, trustworthy and proactive. You’ll enjoy planning ahead, creating order, working independently and taking genuine ownership of what needs to be done.

n

Experience in household management, professional organising, administration, executive assistance or a similar role would be highly regarded,



but strong life experience, initiative and the right personality are equally key to us.

You will also need:

A current driver’s licence and safe driving record

n
- n

A current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain one

n
- n

Willingness to undertake a National Police Check

n
- n

Confidence preparing healthy family meals

n
- n

The ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities

n
- n

Strong communication skills and a high level of discretion

n

n

Experience with neurodiverse children or families is welcomed but not essential.
